1.   Clan Omenborn- (Highborn)

Ø   Damon Omenborn - (High Dwarven King) Stands as the Patriarch of Clan Omenborn. Damon is the descendant of the most ancient and noble of all Dwarf Kings. The very blood of Grungni flows in his veins and the wisdom of Valaya sits upon his beetling brow. The High Kings have kept the Great Book of Grudges, the oldest and most important of the many Books of Grudges, which exist throughout the Dwarf realms. This book, known as Dammaz Kron, recounts all the ancient wrongs and deeds of treachery perpetrated against the Dwarf race. Its pages are written in the blood of High Kings, and its tattered parchment is much thumbed and studied.  Occasionally, the Dwarfs have the opportunity to set right some ancient wrong, in which case the High King has the satisfaction of striking out the record in the book. This hardly ever happens, as, when it comes down to it, Dwarfs much prefer to hold a grudge rather than let bygones be bygones. Even grudges which have been crossed out can still be read and are never forgotten, but fondly recalled together with the story of how vengeance was finally exacted. Dwarfs are very good at bearing grudges, and Dammaz Kron recounts many episodes of the infamy of other races and of the gods themselves. The Dwarf language has no word for forgiveness, but many subtle variations on revenge, recompense and retribution.  Since an early age Damon has dreamed of avenging his people and rebuilding the great dwarf nation and perhaps, one day, to put aside the Great Book of Grudges by striking out every single grudge it contains. Such a thing would be impossible even in a thousand lifetimes, but Dwarfs are determined folk and once their mind is made up they are obstinate. The Great Book of Grudges is Damons constant companion. He keeps the book by his side night and day, sleeping with its gnarled old pages beneath his pillow, and carrying it about with him in his waking hours. He has managed to strike out several long-held grudges, including winning recompense of 1000 gold pieces from the Burgomaster of Vesper for damage done to the reputation of Borin Bullroarer during the Great Vesper Stampede. When the Dwarves go to war, which is often, for there are many dark deeds of infamy to avenge, Damon carries the Great Book of Grudges with him. He is borne aloft on his mystical unicorn steed and guard by four sturdy Gatekeepers. Atop his brow he wears the Crown of Karak Kol.

Ø   Dillon Omenborn - (Greatbeard) Damons brother, and father to the twins Jacen and Jaina. He is second in command of Clan Omenborn. Unlike Damon who prefers the fires of his forge, Dillon prefers to be among the animals of the deep woods, His composed wisdom has lead him to be able to tame the savage beasts as well as calm impassioned quarrels in the council chambers of Karak Kol. (Deceased)

Ø   Crea Omenborn - (Lady Omenborn) Damons second wife, she has brought a smile back to the great kings visage, her aura is said to be able to make even a troll smile. Crea spends most of here time among her people aiding where she can. As one of Dillons students she has learned the art of taming the wild beasts of the realm.

Ø   Jerem Omenborn - (Ranger) as the first-born son of Damon and heir to Karak Kol there has been a great deal of responsibility placed on his massive shoulders, but like his father he carries his burden with ease. Jerem has recently been assigned to Trinsic as a token of the new bond between Clan Omenborn and the city of honor.

Ø   Josef Omenborn - (Ranger) Josef is Damons second son the first born to him and Crea. Josef has been somewhat of an outsider preferring the forest and the life of travel to life in Karak Kol. But he still has not grown a full beard so he may mature out of this un-dwarf like existence.

Ø   Mistral Omenborn - (Greatbeard) Mistral is a world-renowned Grandmaster Bard; Mistral is presently the emissary to Skara Brae. Mistral is probably the most jolly of all of Clan Omenborn, it must be a trait of the Omenborn line that one with such great burdens to carry never let those underneath them see it upon their faces.

Ø   Jacen Omenborn - (Beardling) Jacen is the oldest of the twins born to Dillon. Jacen so far has proven himself a skilled warrior and hopes to follow his hero, Kharas, into the ranks of the Hammerers.

Ø   Jaina Omenborn - (Ranger) of the two Jaina is the youngest of the twins born to Dillon; Jaina has her fathers composed disposition.

Ø   Gem Omenborn - (Brewmaster) Gem has been a Brewmaster for centuries, and although something of a rebel as a youth, the loss of his arm in an accident in his lab has revealed to Gem the error of his conduct. Gems latest brew Troll Brew XXXX has been prohibited from sale in Karak Kol.

Ø   Snorri Omenborn - (Slayer) having broken with everything he holds dear, he deliberately seeks death by hunting down and challenging the biggest monsters he can find. Snorri may not be very bright, but like all Trollslayers he is formidable in combat, a fearless challenger who will never surrender or concede defeat.  It perhaps goes without saying that his capacity for drinking ale is extraordinary.

2.   Clan Ironmaul- (Dark Seekers)

Ø   Thorek Ironmaul- (Thane) Thorek is the aged Thane of the Ironmauls. He is a massive Dwarf, and incredibly strong even by the extraordinary standards of Dwarfs. He is said to have once lifted a fully laden ore pony, which had stumbled and become trapped in a crevasse. In his younger days he would cheerfully repeat the performance when challenged. It is said that he could (and frequently did) out drink all the Dwarfs in his kingdom. His younger days were full of feasting and fighting, bawdy songs and raucous humor, and, of course, battles. Lots of battles, so that the Orcs soon started to avoid the area altogether. Living in a kingdom surrounded by greenskins gave Thorek few worries. In fact he found it rather convenient, and spent the summer months hunting Goblins in the mountains.  Thorek is a rock among the members of the Council of Thanes.

Ø   Grimnar Ironmaul (Warrior) the son of Thorek has become one of the strong new warriors of the second generation. The commander and war chief of Clan Ironmaul, Grimnar is one of the Karak Kols greatest warriors and tacticians. His guidance and experience, as well as his skill in battle, have led the armies to great victories and will continue to lead them to glory.

Ø   Labur Ironmaul (Warrior) Brave and mighty in battle, He has fiercely defended the Dwarven nation and his clan. He takes great pride in his combat skills, indeed, as a Clan the Ironmauls can rarely be bested. More than any other clan they tend to be boisterous and boastful, reveling in their prowess.

3.   Clan Stonetooth- (Gold Molders)

Ø   Colin Stonetooth (Thane) Colin is the Master Beast-Tamer of Karak Kol. A gnarled old Dwarf, strong and enduring as a weather-beaten oak. His mighty white beard reaches to his feet. His great beetling brows cover eyes deep as wells set over features as rough hewn as a granite cliff. His expression is one of eternal disapproval. This is quite normal for a Dwarf of his age who has seen many wonders and watched the inevitable decline of craftsmanship and respect. Dwarves come from all over the to sit at his feet and listen to his wise words. He knows many of the secrets of ancient days, long forgotten by others, and is a living link with near legendary past times.

Ø   Talon Stonetooth (Ironbreaker) Brother of Colin and a true tunnel fighter. An incredibly tough and mighty dwarf a all round killing machine, a massive broad-shouldered dwarf and leader of the Ironbreakers at Karak Kol

4.   Clan Lothar- (Dragon riders)

Ø   Anduin Lothar- (Thane) Clan Lothar are negotiators, the explorers, and the most risk-taking of all the Clans. They tend to be more open to new ideas, and as such act as merchants and ambassadors of the Dwarven People. Lively and quick witted, Anduin could almost be considered friendly by other races. Anduin is the youngest of all the Thanes. He has a quick wit and a keen mind, but to counter he has a fierce temper and little patience. The King is fond of the young Thane and as such he has taken him under his wing, showing him that its not always the hardest blow that make the sharpest edge on an axe. His Clan follows him into battle without question and their grim visage is usually the last thing that their enemies see. Anduin and his kin can be counted upon to rally behind the Dwarf Kings banner that stands between them and the ever-looming shadow of evil. Thane Anduin has taken the grand task of Ambassador to the kingdoms of man.

Ø   Adgar Lothar- (Beardling) Brother of Anduin Lothar and Beloved Husband of Adwigon Lothar, this Dwarf comes from the far mines of Minoc hates Orcs and loves Gems Troll brew ale. He is possessed of sound Dwarf sense, a strong arm, and the complete loyalty to the Dwarf nation. He is a great warrior and is acknowledged so by even the High King. It was Adgar and the Dwarfs of Karak Kol that finally drove off and defeated the Orc Warlord Gnashrak at the Battle of Minoc Mines.

Ø   Adwigon Lothar (Rinn) this loving wife of Adgar Lothar knows nothing of moderation. Her tools are forged in fire and wielded with expert skill; her allegiance is unwavering, and her love for Adgar is as strong as the mountains of their peoples.  She holds an indifferent view of the struggles between the Lords Blackthorn and British, as they are mere men and have caused their own troubles. Magic holds a special fascination for her, although she has an innate distrust for the greater feats of such mysteries. Having tortured and killed her twin, the Urks hold a place in the deepest and darkest parts of her vengeance. This blind rage may prove to be her greatest weakness, or her greatest strength. Whichever it may be, she will not cease until all Urks are wiped from all of Britannia.

Ø   Dygrim Lothar (Beardling)

His search to find death at the hands of a worthy adversary has never been rewarded, but in the pursuit he has slain monsters, Skaven, Orcs and Beastmen beyond number!
